Kite surfing: Ynyslas Wind Direction: W Wind Stength: 18 Surf / Sea State: slight swell Air Temperature: Sea Temperature: Weather: cloudy Max Speed: Distance Covered:
Surprise session this afternoon. Sneaked out of work at 2.30 having
randomly checked the FoN weather station in a bored moment and seen great
looking wind. Arrived at Ynyslas at about 3.15 after having to go back
home to get kit. Rigged 12m Xbow and kited till the lights of Borth came
on left car park in near darkness...only 7.15 though. I need lights on my
kite. Lovely constant wind dead on west and really nicely powered on the
12. Some `real' surfing on the swell. Best session in quite a while with
perfect power some swell further out and flat water in the shallows. Real
helpful dog walker did a fantastic job catching the kite too, which made
life easier since the tide was in. Unfortunately now I need to do the 3
hours work, but well worth it !
